1. The engine works with standard search engine operation tags. For example, to prevent pages with a term from appearing in your results, you can precede that term with a negative sign (-). For example, 'Gibson -Paul' would bring up all items that contained the term 'Gibson', unless they also contain the word 'Paul'.
2. Placing multiple terms within quotations will search for the entire phrase. For example, searching for 'Paul Reed Smith' will return all pages containing any one of these words. However, searching for '"Paul Reed Smith"' will only return pages containing that entire phrase.
3. Our search database is currently limited to words 4 characters in length or longer. Unfortunately, this means searching terms like 'sg', 'CAD', 'AKG', 'Les', etc. will yield no results. We recommend using related longer words to find what your looking for. For example, if searching for a Les Paul, try using the terms 'Gibson' or 'Epiphone'.
4. Please note you can use a few tricks to find words shorter than four characters. For example, searching for '"Les Paul"' will count the word Les towards the search, but only when it appears beside Paul. As long as at least one word in the phrase is 4 characters or longer, the whole phrase will be searched for.
